Spoken word artist Rich Ferguson approached me one day and said” I would live to collaborate on a track with you” I jumped at the chance. I was looking for a creative project that had a unique quality, and this was it. He sent me 5 or 6 of his writings that were all great. However I chose one called This Human Condition. His original writing was a bit long for a song format, so with his blessing I gave him some editing notes. I wanted a positive spin on this piece so in my editing i gravitated to the the those elements. Then my work began. The track I wrote seemed to take on a life of its own early on. I wanted it to be big, powerful and somewhat cinematic in nature. After Rich recorded his performance, premier vocalist Alex Brown made a guest appearance. This track was a blast to produce. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
