I have been a product developer and beta tester for WAVES for a few years now. Seeing as this week marks the release of their “Hybrid Line”, I am now able to mention it to the masses. This package includes the HComp & the HDelay – an exercise in the ongoing concept of combining analog tonality with modern digital functionality. An exciting and new feature of the HComp is the ability to lock the compressor release time to the session BPM; a feature endless in contemporary possibilities.
